„The Table“, run by Germany’s youngest holder of three Michelin stars, Kevin Fehling, fascinates with modern interior and unique flavour experiences.

In 2015, Hamburg finally got its first three-star restaurant: “The Table” is located in the centre of HafenCity and offers some extraordinary design decisions: For example, there is just one single, large table made of cherry wood offering seats to up to 20 guests. From here, the visitors have the chance to take a look at the open kitchen and observe how the exclusive meals are made. Chef Fehling and his team offer the finest combinations of classic dishes with a modern twist as well as completely new, innovative creations.

The brewery behind the Rathaus [Town Hall] is a great meeting point for everyone. The atmosphere is refined and slightly gentrified - right in the heart of the Alsterfleete district. Region Sjælland

Den sjællandske geografi byder på et væld af spændende gastronomiske oplevelser. Tæt på enestående natur og strand - og alligevel så tæt på København. Råvarer i verdensklasse, smukke slotte og herregårde og hjemstavn for fortidens vikinger.

Frugt og grøntsager i verdensklasse

Regionen er kendt som hjemsted for nogle af de bedste frugter og grøntsager. I september måned ligger ’Pæreskuden’ til i Nyhavn i København, og her er der rig mulighed for at smage pærer, æbler og blommer fra Fejø. Stoltheden over de lokale råvarer kommer også til udtryk i, at der er inden for de seneste år, er åbnet en række spændende madbutikker som fx Sakskøbing Madhus og Knuthenlund på Lolland.

Når man siger gulerødder, siger man også Lammefjorden. I Danmarks eneste UNESCO geopark bliver der også produceret verdensklassegrønsager, som bl.a. bliver serveret på Michelin-restauranterne i København.

Slotte og Herregårde

Regionens første restaurant med Michelin-stjerne

Ved den smukke Præstø Fjord ligger regionens første restaurant med Michelin-stjerne, Hotel Frederiksminde. Stjernen tydeliggør, at der også uden for storbyerne findes restauranter i international topklasse. Køkkenet byder på sublimt håndværk med fokus på kvalitetsråvarer. Urterne er plukket ved vandkanten og svampene i den lokale skov.

Danmarks bedste vinproducenter og mikrobryggerier

Vin fra Danmark? Kan det virkelig passe? Ja, det kan du tro. Lolland og Odsherred er nogle af de solrigeste og tørreste områder i Danmark, og dette er den perfekte kombination til at producere vin. Ørnberg Vin i Odsherred producerer prisvindende vin, og Frederiksdal Gods på Lolland har vundet internationale præmier for deres kirsebærvin. Er vin ikke lige sagen, har regionen også nogle fantastiske øl- og cidermikrobryggerier. Når du besøger regionen, hvorfor så ikke prøve en af de lokale øl som fx Klintekongens Klassik, som er opkaldt efter en lokal myte, hvor Klintekongen regerede fra en hule i Møns Klint.
